Season One, Part One tackles the story of having it all in the most iconic, demanding and cutthroat city in the world, New York City. People you Know makes the leap from acclaimed online series to Here TV network on Friday, April 3, 2015.
Get to know the Saints and Sinners of the new series as they learn hard truths about love, friendship and life.
“People You Know is a fascinating series that depicts truly compelling and diverse points of view in a progressive, young group of friends. Here TV is proud to air season one of People You Know, a bold, sexy and intriguing series that dramatizes the challenges and temptations of living in New York City,” says Robert Herbert, Director of Marketing at Here TV. “Here TV is all about representing a unique point of view. As we say, it’s not just TV. It’s who you are.”
“Each character has a moment in the season where they must decide if they are on the side of the saints or the sinners. The choices they make have a direct effect on everyone else, which makes it so much fun to watch,” says series co-creator Baltimore Russell. “The thing that compels the characters to action is the same thing that might be also holding someone else back from achieving their dreams.”
About the Show:
People you Know is a half hour, open-ended drama series that presents a multilayered story with direct consequences for each character. It is a provocative primetime drama set in the fast-paced world of New York City. It tells the story about a circle of friends, family and ex-lovers, gay & straight. The plots center on sex, love, betrayal, and greed, any of which can lead to a character’s undoing. Far more than just a soap, the series challenges stereotypes and breaks new ground. The show weaves throughout its story lines larger, universal themes about the human condition, the nature of cultural identity and gender norms.
This Series debut on the 3rd of April 2015. For more information check their Homepage 😉
